GriefHope is a Christ-centered ministry that provides education and support for bereaved parents through weekend retreats, online support, and resources to encourage reflection, growth, and fellowship. Our prayer is that each parent who has experienced child loss will find biblical hope, peace, and community.
About Us
GriefHope is led by Keith and Shawnda Freer. Married for 34 years, they have two children, Meghan & Andrew. Andrew is a young adult enjoying his stage of life. In May 2018, at the age of 21, Meghan went to Heaven. For the Freers, child loss opened new areas of understanding about the character of God, the hope of Jesus, the truth of Scripture, and the pain of grief. Keith and Shawnda now come alongside bereaved parents to grieve, grow, and learn together.
